On SAM click on "Tools" then "Maitenence" then "Verify Songs" and then readd all your music into SAM. It could be that you have moved the songs to a different location on your PC so SAM can't play them anymore.

Select all songs (ctrl + a), then click the arrow next to the red '-'. Click Delete from ALL. Now, upload all your songs again.
It means you've moved the file probably.

May need to reinstall SAM. Sound like either you downloaded a dodgy version or you changed something that broke it. I've had a very similar problem that took me a while to fix and I ended up deleting SAM completely and starting again.

I had the same issue as Jess -.-
BTW, which link did you use for your download? And are you sure it's SAM 2/3?
Try deleting all your SAM files from your computer and reinstalling....Also, a common problem was the MySQL database when I installed, I recommend checking the box that says "Run MySQL on Startup" or it won't work :D
Hope this helps slightly?

I Get that come up sometimes,
what i do is make sure my sam is set to Auto DJ
another thing is if you have moved your songs around on your computer, it will cause them to stop playing hence, why you don't hear them
like Danny said, remove them all from your Sam and try re-adding them.
If not then maybe like Jess said, you may have a faulty copy of Sam.
