The fourth of July is in July...it is summer vacation so we have off school anyway. But, adults get off from work! It's a holiday to celebrate the birth of America. :)

Umm.... Actually it is a holiday to celebrate when we declared our independence. I should know; I'm related to Thomas Jefferson...
Hence the real name, INDEPENDENCE DAY
it is now the 6th of july "/

We've been off of school since mid-June. But almost everything is closed.

You may be right, but what does it matter that you are related to Jefferson? Anyone who takes a 3rd grade history class should know that...

that's what the British nicknamed Americans during the War for Independence. It was meant to make fun of us, but turned out to be a source of much pride :p

Apparently that person didn't know that and I said I should know because I'm related to Jefferson because he wrote the majority of the Declaration of Indepence :eusa_wall
