I am looking to hopefully start my own business soon.

My first problem is what to do?

And my second one, online or actual premises?

All opinions welcome guys :)

well, it has to be somthing you know alot about, you don't want to go into a business you know nothing about, that would just be stupid.

and how much money you got to put in?

I think you'd have to register with Companies house if you were to start a business... Can't remember my business cwk lol. Yknow, limited liability or stuff like that, should it have shareholders etc. etc. If its just a smalltime business, I don't think you have to even think about that...

But what do you wanna start a business in? :P I'd also reccomend online, renting costs are WAY more than hosting costs, but when the time comes you should try to move your business onto the highstreet.

If you're gonna be successful you need knowledge and a FRESHHH idea, by the sounds of it you have neither. I think you should put more thought into it.
I think i'm Peter Jones :8

You? Peter Jones? Lmao :P

I think the best thing to go in right now is got to be food. The way things going you know the "Credit Crunch" everyones got to eat and theres always a gap in the food Industry. I think if you are going to be successful in any business you got to have the right frame of mind and you got to have things that is liked by "Everyone"

You said you wanted to start your own business soon, i think you should take your time, know exactly what you want to do, tell your friends and family about it and find out other peoples view on it. Then look at doing some market research

Take a few hours of out your day and brainstorm ideas. Start from general things then narrow it down or you could just write down anything that comes to mind as an idea, you'll come up with something original eventually.

Once you have your idea find a business partner that is interested in your idea and you can meet with personally. Then get some investors and work your way up.
