Acer Aspire 5315

Right, I have just acquired one of these from work.

I don't know if anyone else owns an Acer but they come pre-installed with loads of Acer software on them.

Is there any reason why I can't uninstall all of this?

Iv got an Acer Aspire, I was going to uninstall the Acer programs but thought that they might include the drivers for the hardware so I left it.

Id like to hear if anyone knows for sure as well :)

It just seems they probably take up alot of space etc.....

Certain things yeh, but if you got vista then vista should sort it all out

Itll sort out missing drivers if you remove them by accident.

I had an acer aspire (I got a dell now) and i uninstalled like the cd/dvd burner cus i didnt use it and then the sound wouldnt work ^^

So i just downloaded drivers of the tinernet

Vista would reinstall the drivers to the next reboot

Ihad an Acer, didn't enoy it very much. Slows too easily
