Haha, I mean, if we really want to play a game, why can't we just use the spam forum? Both doesn't add to post counts so it doesn't really matter if forum games is gone :P

Strangely, welcome threads have a new-found popularity...Well spotted, I think this needs to be dealt with rather quickly because at least in the Forum Games when they used to get their post count it didn't directly annoy or harm others. But that's going to irritate lots of people and maybe put new people off.

It's always been the way with that forum, it makes new members feel welcome and gives the poster a little post count for their trouble. Obv users like that have to be tracked for pointless posting but there's nothing stopping anyone from posting in every thread, as long as its not posting a stupid amount in every thread.

You say that annoys or harms people, am I missing something here? I can't quite see who it's annoying or harming :S

I think it was left there so people can go through and laugh at the answers but I've never fully understood why tbh, I can't imagine many people do :P

Therefore as it can't be deleted it does no harm in public view.
