Right, when you buy a CPU (Intel) from eBuyer does it contain thermal paste or do I have to buy that separate?

Thanks,
Chris

If it's retail boxed then the heatsink will have a thermal pad. If it's OEM boxed then you will be buying an aftermarket cooler anyway i'm guessing, whice willcome with the paste/heatpad.

Well its retail boxed. So It will have a thermal pad? and thermal paste isn't required? It's a Intel Core 2 Quad.

No. You will not need anything else. The bottom of the stock Inter HSF looks like this. It is sorta like thermal paste pre-applied on the bottom of it.
