Need Fansite Owner

Hey, well I am the owner of an upcoming fansite called GiantHabbo and I don't think I can do all of this work alone so I am here, to ask for your support in being the shared owner! If you are intrested in the position on my upcoming Habbo Fansite then please drop me a PM or add my msn [email protected] and you could be the new shared owner. For this position you must be able to code HTML and PHP. If you have a VB we could use it would be good, but this is NOT needed as we have a myBB. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to welcoming our new owner to the team.

B. All the Coding
C. Get a radio

Actually no that is not the case, I belive I can pull this off, I do have money slowly building up in my paypal and I actually have somebody VERY intrested.. I may not be able to code, but i know people that will, whats to stop me from buying a layout?? Im sorry but I am sure I can pull this off!

And how is that any different from every other 5,000 fansites out there? They all think "OMG I can make it". A month later they open and get 10 visitors in which a half them are staff members. Lol

That was years ago when fansites were in high demand. Nowadays there are 1,000's atleast.. Really low demand for them

I had to install his myBB for him ^^ And then he asked me to do him a free mybb skin, then he asked me to install his Dj panels and crap,and then he wanted me to do his banners.

We can't stop you from trying, that's not what we're trying to do. We're trying to say that you can't just expect someone to do all the work for you whilst you reap the rewards (which is what you're trying to do, don't even deny that and make the situation worse). We're helping you, not the opposite and in all honesty, I'm going to make a fansite, hopefully, if I can get the right partner to work with so I'm not saying it's a dead idea. You really need a unique idea though, or at least a very good standard of what fansites already offer (articles, radio, news etc).

I understand, but I dont want all the work done (yes this will probs make it worst) I just need somebody to help, I can install things but it takes me a while due to the fact I cant keep my mind on one thing :S Also, I have some high standards, I can work well with people, and people even like me (I hope)
I have some ideas, but I do not wish the share them.

Rofl.. Where is "basic CSS" going to get you..? And actually.. When I wanted to open my fansite I could somewhat design, not the best but I could. I could also think up my own ideas, pay for my own domain/hosting/radio, and I learned garbage tables to give a crack at coding. If he was really "serious" about this then he would learn to code and do a lot of it himself. Habbox, Clubhabbo, YourHabbo, Habbcrazy etc didn't exceed by saying " Someone come join me and do it all while I take 90% of the fame ". They knew how to code and got to work - Look how successful they are.

So in the end, I think it is YOU that needs to shutup.. Who the hell are you anyways... You have no posts and come to the forum telling the intelligent kids of the forum to shutup. Go ahead and go back to playing with yourself and stay out of the big boys' business.

Oh and BTW - When he fails miserably.. I will laugh twice as hard at you.

I say this because I want to give you some helpful advice. Do not open a site right now. You dont have the knowledge or the resources to make it succeed. I am not trying to stop you making a site as ultimately its your decision but I seriously suggest you give it a while before you try this as you will just waste time and money. One example of how you arent equipped is that you dont have a vbulletin, either because you cant afford it or you arent prepared to part with the money for something like a habbo fansite, and in both scenarios you are doomed to fail. ;)

I suggest going away, making some contacts with people who can be of real use to you, getting yourself the finances required, as well as developing your knowledge in coding, forums etc. as that's all very important :)
Instead of wasting your money and time now, come back when you are prepared and when wasting those things will actually get you some success :P

Now I have my trial at Habbox, I guess im going to forget the site. Your right, I don't really want to part with the money and I don't really have the knowledge, maybe when Im older, can code and make some site pannels and things like that I might try. For now, im sticking with Habbox.
