I have a huge weakness, something that I wish I didn't have. PAINT. I don't have as much time for trading as I use to have. But we all see it when we visit trade rooms, someone who is in desparate need of paint. This is where my weakness fails me. I don't want to see anyone scammed particularly those that are in need of paint as generally speaking its the poorer habbo who needs paint for their rooms to decorate the little amounts of furni that they have. So I step in and try to help. (If my purse had everlasting credits I would give freely). Always foolishly knowing that I could be scammed. It's even harder now to trade paint, since you can't trade presents. Habbo has made this scam even easier for scammers.
I wrote an email to habbo a few weeks ago suggesting they introduced a PaintFairy. As expected I got no reply. My idea was to possibly have a once a week opportunity to ask the PaintFairy for 4 credits of paint in exchange for a small amount of furni. (SCAM FREE PAINT). We often hear the other side of being scammed for example, someone who has handed over furni in exchange for paint only to find the paint buyer has vanished with the furni and not bought the paint. They probably didn't even have any credits :(
I have now been scammed so many times helping habbos with paint. That I have made a promise to myself. Not to help another habbo with paint!!!!!!!!!!
If that sounds mean, it's because I feel Habbo hasn't done enough to lessen the number of habbos being scammed. That includes me!
The last person who scammed me with paint, two days ago, got an extra pressy from me. It read: I won't forget you - from MissAlice. So if you see this present laying around you will know that your in the presence of a scammer.
I think it's a very sad day when I have to tell others not to trade paint :(
