Im a rugby man, played on Twickenham at the age of 9, became 3rd best in the country and can't get a good enough game in the county. Anyway as the title says, what do you prefer? Rugby or Football? Don't forget to add a reason and ofc I prefer rugby, football is a bit wimpy.

"rugby is a thugs game played by gentelmen and football is a gentlemens game played by thugs."

And how good are you nowadays?

Yeah.. what position was you and how the hell can they determine who the best rugby player is at 9? Lol?

Rugby LEAGUE for me as when I lived in Hull I played for Hull F.C and then got on regional camp so I played for the whole Yorkshire district.

The team were 3rd best in the country as u9s if you get me, I have the newspaper article :P

Ok that confused me ^^

Basicly we were the 3rd best in our age group all over the UK.

We are the second best at any sport in the county..

I play Hooker :P

You're rugby club is the second best at any sport in the county? You must be great at multi-tasking. Also, I enjoy playing Rugby and watching Rugby (I go to all the England Games) but I follow a club in football when I don't in Rugby.

They don't, they just don't roll around the floor when someone kicks their leg.

How about facing a 50-50 challenge with an incoming defender?

I'm sure I read somewhere that the injury rate for football is higher than that of rugby. Not sure if it is, though, I'm just sure I saw it somewhere.

You lean down and wait for the prop to roll the ball back to you and then you throw it. You're great at rugby aren't you son:rolleyes:

Rugbys far more physical but you get more injuries in football because you get idiotic defenders who enjoy running into posts, or is that just Chelsea?

Hookers are at the front of a scrum so they don't have their heads inbetween someone's ass.

i prefer football, i only watch england in rugby, but to say football is for wimps well thats just wrong. Dont get me wrong rugby is full contact yes but football is not a wimps sport its very much physical and for diving in football, they dont dive because they are wimps, they dive to win a penalty or a freekick its more of a way to gain advantage rather than being a wimp, i cant see a rugby player diving can you? He's just get laughed at.

Rugby is ten times easier to follow than football. I don't see rugby fans being subjected to bubbles games and rendevous points to meet the police. Rugby fans can drink in the ground, football fans can't.

I also remember you claiming to be a Manchester United fan. hmm.

Rugby fans also don't follow their sport. Apart from the odd one or two, Leicester, Gloucester, Munster, rugby fans don't travel away unless it's a game for their country. If there was no such thing as beer, I can categorically tell you that rugby crows would fall by 50% if more. Half of them only go to drink.

The difference between rugby and football is double-standards. Rugby get's all the benefits. What do us football fans get? Nothing.

Just because we don't have the biggest fan base in the world because we aren't fashion icons doesn't mean nobody follows us. Again you're wrong, they probably only drink in wales because they have nothing better to do other than drink themselves silly. How do we get benefits? Football gets all the money.

if you wanna call it cheating feel free, but its also a way of winning and gaining advantage i for one would get rid of this diving if i could but its a part of the game now. Plus football is more of an exciting game in my opinion.

I can tell you now that when Wales play football there are less arrests than rugby. Even when Wales have the same crowds, very very rare. Football fans are giving a bad name by the media. Here in Wales, rugby is the main sport. Everything football is bad, everything rugby is brilliant. The WRU want Wales football out of the Millenium Stadium.

I'd like to see how many rugby fans will go and watch their team if they had all this police treatment? About 2.

Rugby fans can drink in their seats, football fans can't. France only sell non-alcholic drinks because they hate alcohol and you can't even advertise it there.
