I am using Windows Vista (Home prenium I believe) and when I go to control panel , it loads, then it says: Windows Explorer has stopped responding, then it closes the whole window and the start bar (bottom) goes blank, then comes up and Poblem Reports comes up saying:

Technical InformationUpdate to Firebird 2 client components (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=9028)

Uninstall Firebird, look for it in your 'All Programs'. I assume you use SAM broadcaster?

It has nothing to do with Mozilla :P It's database software.

No, because SAM is not causing the problem, the database that SAM uses is causing a problem.

I'm guessing since you cannot access control panel, you cannot access add or remove programs.

See if Firebird is listed in all programs, the uninstall link may be listed under the programs entry,

If not, You should try a program called YourUninstaller, it should remove it with ease

Go to c:// > windows > system32 and delete the firebird.cpl file - that should fix it.
