I have a 2005 Honda Accord V6 (3.0L) and the gas tank holds 17.1 gallons (64.7 litres) of regular unleaded gasoline.

I filled up today and the car was almost empty (took 17 gallons to fill) and it cost me $33.50 (approx 21.50 pounds).

My car gets about 28 - 30 mpg on the highway and I've been getting about 480 miles before I have to re-fuel.

I don't know if thats good or bad, in the UK but I'm happy with the current gas prices!

Unleaded petrol's at about 89.9p a litre and about 105.9 for diesel, which i'm happy about :) it was only a few months ago when it was like 108.9 for petrol.
How much do you pay a litre over there on average? i can't be bothered to do the math

Lol, you why did you even bother asking if £21.50p was good in Britain for petrol, of course it is lol. Especially for the amount you got in! In the UK, that would of been around £40 - £50 or so.

Loads of brits have big cars. We just get heavily taxed :P

We pay so much because we have VAT, then theres a fuel tax with VAT on that.

So its Tax on a Tax on a Tax.

Wow.. The UK are so expensive!!

In Australia we just got back down to 103.9 cents a litre, which is about 0.44GBP ?

Haha, you should come to the uk, anything over 2 litres is pretty big. For someone relatively young to have a 3 litre car over here is like wthz

We visit the USA quite a lot and always comment on how cheap the gas is. Wish it was those prices over here. We have friends in North Carolina who we have visited / met a few times. It was only a few weeks ago that they were running out of gas in his state!

It costs us about £60 to fill up our BMW and this is done every fornight. The teen and future generations will just not be able to afford running a car in a few years.

I like the way you said its ONLY a 3 liter there.

Its a complete rip what we have to pay, and we even drive smaller cars than America, if anyone should have higher prices its them as they waste a load more of it compared to us.
