Such thing as Habbo Favourites?!

Right many people always say there are favourites on Habbo who always win competitions etc. However, I don't think there are, ok it's clear that some people win a lot of competitions. This isn't because they suck up or are favourites but because their entrants are just better than the rest. For example, it's often the same people who win room designing competitions - this is because with every room they make they try hard and spend a lot of time to make it look perfect.

I think it's untrue and a myth.

If its room designs then its going to be the people who spend alot of time on Habbo and who have alot of furniture so its likely to be someone who is known for playing Habbo alot and who has alot of furniture? :P

I do think though that Habbo should look at having competitions where people have an equal chance of winning and it doesn't rely on having the most friends (voting competitions) or the most furniture etc.

I think there are some staff favourites on habbo but not the people who win comps. i think competitions are judged pretty fairly.

I agree with you, I think that if people spend alot of time on their room, they are obviously going to have a good chance of winning, providing that their design is good, of course.

Supersam, you don't necessarily need alot of furniture to win a competition. The competitions are about creativity, not who can get closest to the furniture limit... If you use your furniture well, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to win. You also don't need to spend alot of time on habbo to collect alot of furniture.

There are no voting competitions anymore, apart from the top 40 rooms of the month, which doesn't really get much interest anyway because there is no furniture/badge prize.

But you get them winning one comp with a rubbish entry then win more with ok entry's, its like they randomly win first to get noticed in other comps or something.

I think he was meaning sometimes people win lots of random entry comps.

If he is then yeah I've noticed that too.

Someone won 2/3 of the my spy family badges and they were sposed to be given out randomly..

the 1s where u have to be in a certain group/answer something out of randomness to win.

and when its not room making competitions they still win lawl
& then when that habbotics phamacis badge was given out at the start
the people who had it were quite popular.
and if say the 'favourites' had a problem, they report it or w/e and it gets sorted out, unlike when ordinary habbos send habbo an email, they dont reply for ages, or in most cases never.

On the other hand, habbo badges to me arnt that special any more because alot of people own them, unlike a few years ago when you was kind of special to have won a badge. That could be the reason why these popular people keep winning, because they frequently enter competitions knowing which ones they have a chance of winning etc etc

I know loads of staff favourites, So yeah i'd say their is.

I usually always win those comps were you just join a group and 50 people win a badge.

And Skeleton.Fossil wins loads of room comps.

only recently ive started to do the polls and stuff to get badges and when you look at the results you can see they have been picked fairly as you dont recognize any names.

2004 was a very bad year for this, Jesus, I got so frustrated with those suck-ups winning everything, always being with Callie, Callie always using them as examples in Newsies, even using their Habbo's clothing images subtley in comps etc, it was everywhere. Christ, by far the worst HM we've ever had, I often wanted to ram those F%£$*!G Jaffa Cakes down her throat.

I think it's got better now with competitions. But sometimes people who are quite "e-famous" in habbo get perks and that. I mean the Pill badge was given to some people before the Ooze competition and it happened to be with some of the popular people, they were removed but it's just odd why they got them.

Yes there are. When CoolManDan6 got hacked, he is given a Habbo trophy for no reason. When other richer users are hacked, there's nothing returned.

I think there is two classes of people on habbo in that way that some people will entre and do it half and good as the others for the fact that person knows what habbo are looking for in a room ect ect they also have the furni/creds to buy what they are looking for and don't need to compremise this is only for room desigining. the randomly picked ones it just pot luck!

A while back i would have said 100% YES,
but now i would have to say not so much, i think habbo staff are being fairer on competitions etc, but again there is some favourites in certain comps
as becs said on a radio cast " Of course there is habbo favourites and no matter what you do theres always gonna be favourites"

I think there is, they make the winners enter again, so they could buy more credits and stuff to make there room or what ever the competition is so they also 'give' money to sulake, I don't know, that's just my opinion.

Then you wouldn't see that the best quality entrants win. If it's always the same Habbo's entering these best quality entries then they're bound to win :S

I enter some rooms which I think are good, yet I win by noobs clearly not understanding the meaning of "wildlife" and "iced" do not go lol :)
