yeah but britney brought the most viewers to the x factor... which was 12.8m and take that only got 12.2.

Also Britney said she wants to release Circus (the second single from Circus) near the end of November (which is now obv) or early December to boost the circus sales, that's why she did that mini european tour (which you probably know anyway). I love Britneys album, but I will blame the leaking as Blackout didn't chart well either because of it's leak. Then again, Girls Alouds - Out Of Control was leaked a week before (whereas circus was leaked 2 weeks before the release) and Out Of Control shot up to #1. Let's see how Britney does on the midweeks ;)

the most suprising thing is that leona lewis - run knocked off greatest day within seconds on itunes charts and greatest days popularity was really high. at least britney is at #3 now and circus is at #10, it'll probably go up but the killers has been holding strong for a while

if you wanna see popularity, just view the songs as a list then right click the bars at the top and select popularity. I would show you the current one but iTunes hasn't updated the list, but here's the one I did of Girls Aloud a while ago :P

also, for the x factor rating...

Britney's X Factor appearance pulled 12.8 million viewers meaning more than 53 percent of the entire viewing audience tuned into the UK show to see Britney's performance.

Just so you know, that's the most watched X Factor of the whole series.

Piece of me actually reached number two whilst Womanizer only managed number four.

The reason Womanizer wasn't able to realize its full potential here in the UK was because of the way Jive released the single. The download wasn't actually available here until 2nd November, by which time it had already been receiving heavy airplay for over two weeks. For some stupid reason, Jive decided to push back the physical release to 24th November, over three weeks after the downloads initial release! I personally, along with other fans, believe that if the physical single had been released at the same time as the download she would've got the number one spot she so totally deserved. If you're going to blame anyone, blame Jive!

You can expect her to shoot back up the charts this Sunday after that X-Factor performance but Leona Lewis will definitely hold her off the top spot. I reckon she'll rise back to number four behind Leona, Take That and Beyonce, respectively.

i like both tt and britney personally and would be happy for either, but tt will take it, they have a huge fanbase, the 'greatest day', not even one of tt's best records sold 70k this week and there last album sales were huge!

You gotta take into account that on iTunes she has two albums in the top ten (last time I looked). The Deluxe album is at #6 whilst the standard is at #7. Midweek charts show she's at #3 currently!
