Basically my parents are getting mad at me because I'm unable to decide on a christmas present for my self. Basically I'm just wondering about what's on the Ipod Touch, like cool applications ect.
The first thing I'm wondering is, do the iphone and the touch support the same applications for example on a youtube vid I saw an ocarina app from the legend of zelda, but the thing is he was doing it on an iphone, so I'm wondering if the same app will be available on the Touch.
Also am I able to go on the internet, msn and all those things on the ipod touch, and is there a cost for any of these things.
If you have a touch, do you think its worth it, basically I'm just going to use it to listen to things on the way to school, during school, I also want something to use during supervised study (hence the ocarina).
What other cool things have you guys seen or heard of being on it?
Also I'm not asking for the iphone because I have no need for a phone or to pay a load of money per month.
Link to the video with the ocarina:

Also, I'm just wondering for itunes vouchers and what not what are the rates, and how many points does a song usually cost.

iPod touch is the best! Iv had mine for over a year now and its just amazing.
If you want to know how much games cost download iTunes, go into App Store and look around, there are a lot of free apps and a lot of paid apps so you always have a choice.
If your going to buy one id recomend buying the newer one (http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/shop_ipod/family/ipod_touch) as it has extra features compared to mine like a better processor, microphone, side volume buttons etc.
You dont have to pay for internet as you can connect to any open wireless network, only problem with this is that in a lot of places when your out and about wont have random open wireless networks, this makes it hard to get on the internet everywhere.
Wanna know anything else?

Since when does it have a better processor :S???
And yes, every application and game on iTunes work on both the iPod Touch and the iPhone.

No as in, the don't have a better processor or no as in not all apps work on both...
If you mean not all apps work on both, then you're wrong, they do. Obviously ones to do with the phone function would be pointless because you wouldn't be able to do much but that's like saying you can run a certain app on a MacBook but not an iMac.

It is a little bit faster:http://www.macrumors.com/2008/11/22/2nd-generation-ipod-touch-faster-than-iphone/
And Ocarina don't work on the iPod Touch because it uses the integrated microphone in the iPhone and the iPod Touch don't have that.

Yes, but it will still run it just won't have any functionality. BTW there are headphones out there with built in mics and you can even buy Apple headphones with mics, so it would work.

In theory it should work with the new iPod Touch, but Smule who wrote the program, haven't made it able to get sound from headphone microphones, yet. (i'm not 100% on this because i don't have an iPod Touch, but on the page for the program in iTunes they are saying it won't work on iPod Touch)
