To download movies straight from youtube to it, so like go to youtube.com [on my touch] find the video and download it straight onto it without using itunes or my pc.

Not directly from YouTube itself, maybe off a online downloader/transverter ma bob, I used that then saved to PC and iTunes'd it for my video, but I don't know if the touch would accept it.

No I don't think iPods of any type can play flv files, unless someone has made a flv player application.

YouTube is flv.
Unless you jailbreak it and add an application which converts flv to mp4.

ino, but if you add &fmt=18 to the end of the url it changes it to mp4.. i used to do it all the time, might not work this time

I have a bookmark that puts a .mp4 download link on the youtube page you're currently viewing but I'm not sure if it works putting it on an ipod since I'm fairly certain it's some sort of script lol

Yes, an app called mxtube will do that for you :).

Find the youtube url, then on safari naviagate to http://keepvid.com and enter the url and download the video (its in mp4 format).
