Mini Friday reaches 1M accounts
Monday, Dec 1, 2008 / Writer: Sampo Karjalainen, CCO
Mini Friday, our mobile virtual world experiment, has reached 1 million registered accounts. That's quite a number for a small research project. Mini Friday is not that mini anymore!

Unlike some blogs have interpreted, Mini Friday is not a mobile version of Habbo. It is a public feasibility test of virtual worlds on mobile phones. And a million registered accounts seems very promising. There most certainly is market demand for mobile virtual worlds, and therefore we're developing a new "commercial" version of Mini Friday with a larger feature set.
We will announce more details about this new project in the first half of 2009.
