There are two models of Phenoms; Phenom X3 and X4. The one he has listed is the quad core.

That's not too bad cos it's in Australian Dollars. It's about £850 :) It's an alright build, but you could probably do better - although prices are probably different in Oz.

Also you do realise you are installing a mATX in a fullsized ATX case? It will work but there is really no point.

Get 2x2GB rather than 4x1GB RAM. Also, myaybe consider a Core Duo/Quad CPU rather that a Phenom. Not too sure about that motherboard either.

So lost lol, i have no idea about the CPU/Motherboard, what do you suggest that isn't too expensive because i really wanna stick under $2000.

What do you mean i'm installing a mATX in an full size ATX? It'll fit so why is there no point...

Oh and I am getting 2 ram sticks lol.

Everyones making all these satirical remarks and I don't even know what they mean haha.

What does it matter if I get Vista and AMD.... ehhhh /dies

edit: I'm now considering getting the 2600MHZ instead of 2200MHZ in the phenom quad core.

I mean you are installing a smaller motherboard into your case than you can fit into your case. This means you'll have less PCI/PCI-Express slots than are on your case and you'll not have as many connections (e.g SATA) than you would on a full sized ATX motherboard that your case can handle.

Ok, i've sorted it out for you. It's $9 over budget, but i think you'll be getting a much better PC for it. I've kept everything exactly the same apart from CPU, motherboard, RAM and graphics card. Some of the other things you have i personally wouldn't choose, but are more personal preference sort of things so i have left them.
