Yay the fun bit. My girlfriend atm is the first I've had but it's not going well but I jsut want to end it instead of it just gradually going nowhere. We haven't fallen out and I don't dislike her for any reason, just to put it how it's often put 'we're not meant for eachother'. Anyway I don't get to see her much (that's partially why it's not working) and we never talk on the phone... I know that dumping by text is severely frowned upon.. and I'm assuming by msn is just as bad/worse. What about by phone? Because the thing is, if we want to meet, we have to arrange it (again that's partially why it's not working). And it just seems a bit odd to arrange to meet her then say I want to split up, then leave :/

I'd appreciate any helpful advice and +rep
And I'll -rep stupid comments or totally unhelp***/irrelevant ones, you have been warned

When you break up with someone you should do it in a way that respects what you had together. You should be honest about your reasons too.
I personally would much rather be broken up with to my face, but it depends on the kind of person she is.

Urgh, that is difficult. I think you should speak to her on the phone and just explain things to her and listen to what she has to say before making a rash decision. Certainly don't do it on MSN / Text / or anything along those lines. I think finishing it on the phone is acceptable but don't say anything stupid, work your way to it.
