Heya,
For my room im looking for someway of being able to mount a screen on the wall which i can access Tv and Pc Through. I know it sounds simple, however i was wondering about having the actual PC Hard disk etc at mabey 7 metres away, so if possible some form of wireless, I'm not totally sure yet, But if you can help reccomend products and packages help is greatly appreciated.

Wireless signal to tv is impossible// very very expensive // Putting your tower 7 M away would probably cause great signal lose unless you used a signal booster and a very highend cable i'd imagine.
Just use a long VGA cable. Will be fine.
Ok i now understand what i need, next is the issue of choosing a TV. Im looking to spend approx £150-250 On something which is HD, Has a Freeview Tuner (I Presume this means I will be able to receive Digital Channels through my ariel which is Digital) And has a reasonable screen size, i dont want huge.
Now im confused because I saw a TV

Which says 20" Freeview LCD TV and PC monitor
So im presuming i have to buy a TV like this, not just any old one.
Help? LOL
The majority of HD TVs can be used as a PC monitor.

There are 3 ways to do this:
1) HDTV with a VGA Output (most retailers will call them PC Out but it's still the same thing.)
This is the simplest way because you literally stick the VGA cable into your PC and TV. No adaptors needed.
2) DVI to HDMI.
This can be expensive but will give you the best picture. I don't know anything about this but I know cables are availible, have seen then in Argos for something like £40 for a 2 meter length one.
3) Component (Green, Blue, Red. HD TV only) or Composite (Yellow, White, Red. All TV's) to VGA.
This would be good because it's cheap, Component gives you basically HD picture and Composite means you can connect your PC into any non-HD TV as well. The drawback of Composite is that it has the worst picture quality of all the options.
I guess the easiest thing would be get a HD TV with VGA Output, otherwise get a VGA to Composite/Component adaptor off eBay or Amazon.
And my knowledge of HD TV's kinda sucks because I don't have any so if anyone wants to correct me then go ahead.
