I've been told it looks like monitor is floating, so don't bring that up. It's a sloppy concept, but do you think it has potential and more importantly, should I develop it?

The colouring of the screen just doesn't blend in with the white design.

It's ok but I feel it may be a little 'gimmicky'. It reduces the usability of the page, leaves large white spaces and to be brutally honest it doesn't look that great. I think you can do a lot better Richard :). Thats just my opinion though.
