I must say thats a good 3 or 4 threads I have seen with polls comparing mobiles (one of which was my own :P) and the Iphone has won with an overall majority every single time.

Mines arrives tomorrow! :) Can't wait to fiddle about with it then give it to get wrapped for santa ;P lol

Phones are evaluated in uses by what operating system they run mostly. Therefore the iPhone is the best phone, as it has a very nice GUI, good browser and tons of user designed applications.

Because its full of gimmicks that are great for 2 days and then aren't so good, much like the first G1.

Totally wrong... The iPhone is the first phone to keep me occupied for ever. I've had a lot of phones, and with the usual Phone OS's (Symbian etc.) and all are kind of boring after 5 minutes, but with the amount of stuff do with the iPhone 3G... Its amazing. By far, the best phone i've ever had.
