I think it is. I saw it earlier and if I didn't have a PS3 I'd probably have bought it.

Downside: Will probably break after one month of use... LOL.
Oh, and it 'upscales'...
"Upscales to 1080p and 1080i."
AFAIA that means it does not support resolutions of 1080i/p, just 'upscales' it to 'almost' look as good.

Prob wont break after a month. Dont have to be expensive for it to be good quality.

I'll wait a while and get them for 20 quid just like I did with DVDS and survived :P

Yes but it doesn't actually support full 1080i/pm just upscales it, like when you enlarge an image and it pixelates. That's why it's cheap, it doesn't support full quality res's properly.

Just like most DVD's say reduced from £19.99 online when they're only worth about £9 anyway, they try and find the highest price for it (AKA the RRP most of the time :/) and then claim that's how much it would be. Like sofa's which have about £700 off every week and the sale ends Sunday, yet the advert always seems to be on...

Get it if you're sure that the Argos 30 day money back guarantee applies to it.
That way if it sucks you can take it back providing you claim it didn't work or something.

My dad got one the other day off my mum as an early Xmas present, cost her £195, a bit much, but my dad bought her a new car :P.
The upscaling will be for DVD playback, not Blu Ray.
