HDTV or Computer?

So with all the money that I get for christmas from family and everything. I was planning of getting an HDTV, but now I was thinking maybe a new computer or even a laptop would be nice cause my cpu is pretty slow.
Which one should I get and why?

Depends, if you want to just do internet and work on your computer, get a HD tv :P
