I'm getting an iPod touch...

I was wondering if you guys could help me with these questions. I am going to jailbreak as soon as i get it as well. :P

- Will music from Limewire etc. go on my iPod without any problems?
- I heard Customize won't work with Winterboard installed. Is that true?
- What is the light sensor actually for?
- Does Jailbreaking make your iPod slower?

The new iPod touch isn't jail breakable yet. Jail breaking shouldn't slow down your ipod because processes can't run in the background on an iPod Touch.

Well actually they do run in the background because its just an OS X (UNIX) system

Your music will be fine. Although you download it from limewire it'll be gettign stored in a music folder somewhere and you can just import that into itunes.

Yes, no problems whatsoever. Probably won't be named properly or come with album artwork, but you can fix all that in iTunes.

No idea.

It senses how bright it is wherever you are and adjusts the brightness of the screen accordingly. I.e., it brightens the screen if your in a brightly lit area, and dims the screen if you are in the dark. You can turn this option off though.
- Does Jailbreaking make your iPod slower?
Not entirely sure, I had mine jailbroken for a while and it was fine.

ive jailbroken my own ipod at least 5 times, and have done so for other peoples ipods at least 5 times as well. and nothing went wrong

Jailbreaking does slow your iPod down if you install loads of apps and theme everything and have ten billion apps running all the time, I used to have about 7 pages when I was jailbroken and had a theme on (not everything different, just a home screen background) and that slowed it down quite a bit so, depends really.

Well it deffo is free, and anyway even if it did cost what's wrong the paying a couple of quid for an app you will get loads of use out of you cheap skate.

Because people who don't want to pay 59p-£1.99 (which is the price it would be if it did cost) are pretty cheap :S If it's the only app he's going to buy and he's going to get lots of use out of it, it doesn't matter whether it costs or not.

There are two ways of viewing MySpace on the Touch=
-going to www.myspace.com on the Safari browser
-going to the App Store and downloading the MySpace app from there. It is free and very easy to use.
