for your first attempt thats pretty good, i think you could improve on the clothes like the belt isnt very isometric.

This isn't your first alt :S You've made more than this :p

It's not impressive at all,
The hair is one colour, Use different shades of brown instead of just one thing of black.
The belt doesn't look at all isometric either,
When recolouring things, try to use colours that compliment each other instead of extreme colours of Pink, Green etc.

I'd try more black outlining the belt looks strange.

The only other thing ive done is put yellow instead of blue on the pool..

and thanks for the comments. i couldnt get the hair to look right at all when i tried it with browns and different shades. plus the belt - i know it isnt right but i couldnt work out how to fix it.
any tips on how to sort these?

God, you've helped her so much

Mm, it seems a little rushed and scribbled (if you know what I mean)
~ Try zooming in and making a outline pixel by pixel
~ Try use a wider range of shading but ones which dont clash

I'm sure you'll improve, 2/10.

ok you have broken 1 of the first rules of alting is you are gonna resive it be bigger do it after you have done your alting. this avoids you having different sived lines. also to fix the belt dont just draw a line go in and do it pixel by pixel. this will take a bit longer but will look a whole lot better

Not a bad first attempt, But maybe try more shading? I reccomend doing recolours before doing alterations, But if you want to jump the gun fine ;)
