Dayum, Eclipse Internet (My ISP) is doing it, wow, this is one time they haven't been such a good ISP..

I get a 404 error on the "Virgin Killer" album page unless I use a proxy.

I also cannot edit pages, Eclipse has merged us all into 1 IP.

Its good that their sensoring this stuff,
but there will eventually be a cutoff point where they go too far with the banning.
http://whois.domaintools.com/62.30.249.131 is the ip that virgin media users go to.

I never said it was. But if there are pics of say a naked kid on an album cover, yeah its a cover. But there is sick people in this world who would like print it off and hang it on the walls and do you know what to it. It may sound wrong, but there you go LOL. Although that is a bit sad tbh <_<

That is ridiculous, you pay these companies so you can use the internet and they sensor stuff out? I'd be fuming if I were you - sensors should only be put on the internet if the user needs be.

I'll stick with good ol' Sky tyvm, gives me my TV aswell :P

Sky are part of this... they use the Internet Watch Foundation's (IWF) blacklist, as do a lot of other ISPs.

Yeah but surely that's them just keeping an eye on what you view so you don't look at stuff you're not supposed to, as opposed to censoring the stuff like on your ISP?

It's an MA15+ in Australia. Most violent games have to be edited so that they can be sold there. Fallout 3 originally showed the player administering drugs but they had to cut it cus of the aussie government

It would depend how you look at it. Some people see it as child nudity which is different from child porn. How ever you have already downloaded it as it is in your temp internet files.

I think it's sick anyway. It should have never been published. I dont know how they got away with that, i know it was banned in the UK but to even have the nerve to launch it in other country's, if i saw that album in the shops, id be like ***

I do think it should be blocked, but you do pose a good point. They should have banned this image entirely, after countries began banning the album cover. Banning it 40 years later is weird.

Well, its up to us what we can and cant view really. But it is pretty sick, what I don't agree with is the fact they blocked us from editing pages. Thats just annoying.

Wikipedia blocked us from editing the pages without signing up because the ISPs were edit-bombing and vandalizing the Wiki.

How do you know that I'm not the sort of person to print off the Kings of Leon - Sex is on Fire album and do dirty little things to it? :P There are some famous photographers which took photos of some child nudity, it showed the world how poverty affected the young. It's kinda different :P Child pornography usually shows something sexually explicit as far as I am aware. It's why the men on underwear boxers, posters and sites are called models and not porn stars :P

It's good that they censored it, seen as it's child porn.

I guess it's actually bad that they've now uncensored it.

Led Zepplin? No way! It was just related to their album name. Aswell, he never removed his full ribcage it was a bit of it... Still sick though lol.
