Right to start off, last Monday I was going to college but the bus broke down :l I got into lesson 15 minutes late and they decided to throw me out of the college like stupid teachers they are. Therefore before I started to go to college my dad said I will only get you a moped if you go to/attend college, so I agreed obviously just to get it. Now he is saying I am taking your moped until you find a job, but I have literally the worst grades in gcse's I aint going to find any job. I was just recently going to add aload of stuff to my bike aswell and now its gone. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

yh i need a job. my gcse grades were good, yet those who did worse than me are always getting interviews/offers and they have/had the same working experience as me - which is nothing. i guess it all comes down to the cv's, but i thought mine was quite good. just make sure yours is well written, flows and isn't like crap lol.

You can be over qualified for jobs. Plus, they need to take on those less able (eg certain minorities etc. in supermarkets).

Actually, I find a lot of jobs tend NOT to employ you if you're over-qualified. They basically don't even call you in for an interview, they just say no. That's why you can often find people in strange jobs, like people with Phds and multiple degrees doing tedious jobs just for money.

By the sounds of things you made coming in late to College a frequent issue aswell as not seeming to be botherd about going. So they let you go becuase your punctuality was not good enough, they would not throw someone out at first occourance.
