I need a plan! But i need advice.

Ive totally lost interest in my studies. O wait, im never interested in Business studies in the first place. Well yeah, i thought ive wasted my time enough. I dont go to school quite often but when i do, im always hours late. In school, i dont pay attention. Nothing goes in my head. Ive been doing lots of thinking and i thought maybe i should move on. Drop out of school and get a job. When ive settled down with whatever job i get, i thought of doing part-time studies. I dont mind taking my time with studies, i can study for all my whole life if i want to. But i just thought i shouldnt be tied down by time tables. I just cant stick to it. So this is my last week of school before break and i thought of asking advice from anyone i can. Oh and my mum has been telling me that if i cant study, i shouldnt waste my time staying.

So yeah. Help please!

Callum.

well it seems pointless going school if you are not doing anything.

maybe get a job, earn some money. you do seem to be on here an awful lot, so i doubt that can help.

Is it gonna be any different if you get a job though? wont you be late for that too? Is the small amount of money you are likely to earn really going to motivate you enough to go to your job every day? those are the questions you should ask yourself!

im a lazy person tbh.
i dont like working either.
and i obvs dont like studying too.
for the job thing, i find that if i didnt like it ill just be a rebel and go in late and ****. i dont need the money to support myself. i just need it for whatever expenses like shopping or going out and such. so minimum wage is enough for me. i just dont wanna idle away at home doing nothing.
another thing is that i like flexibility. but finding a job which is flexible for me qould be quite difficult.

I think he thinks that cos when you're on its daytime here but middle of the night there so he thinks you go on hxf all the time in the day :P

Its either one or the other but what I think is that there's no point in going to school if you aren't really learning anything. Maybe you should just find a nice job that you think you might like and see how it goes.. sitting in school learning nothing is basically just as bad as staying at home, so maybe you should just do what you think is right for you.

Dont be a fool, school is an imprtant part of life providing you with a basic education to send you on in life. I got permanately excluded from school in my third year and it was one of the worst mistakes of my life. I may sound like the rest of the naggy teachers telling you school is super important but i am speaking from personal expierience. Anyway what job do you think your going to get get with no qualifications stick in there and go on to higher education give yourself the quality of life you deserve.

I dont mean to sound harsh or anything but you just need to suck it up and get to places on time, whether it be a job or school. We all have to do things we dont like to, but that doesent mean we just dont do it or whatever. The worst way to deal with things is to avoid them.

but i cant finish it if my heart's not in it though. if i fail, and that's a 60% chance of failing, i would probably think back "i have wasted my time for nothing"

im not exactly avoiding them. just putting it on hold. i get it, thats what ive been doing for the past 18 years of my life, suck it up. i thought maybe its quite time for a change. do something new.

I'd say stay at school and get qualifications, there aint long to go til summer, 7 months or less, just do the rest of the year then go out jobhunting .. no point in wasting half a year for nothing .. also, give urself say a couple of hours a night on the computer instead of all the time ur on it and limit urself, then study for a bit then do whatever other hobbies u have be it goin to the gym or whatever, just dont leave tho mate not worth it, it say you would definitely regret it.

lol wot

well i plan to work so i can just spend on stuff.
travelling seems like a good thing too but its not important now.
also, i think im so sick of the school environment which makes me lose interest as well. the only thing i look forward to when it comes to school is just seeing my friends.
things i do when im in school is ***** about others, talk/giggle/laugh, pick on some guys in class, play counter strike zero and eat.

If you can't do it, get a job, earn some money, then go back to your stuidies in about a year.
