The stock cooler was a buggar to get off some stupid ass bracket.. i nearly **** myself when i slipped and basically stabbed the mobo with a flathead screwdriver with all my weight on it.

Well it doesn't scream in games.. only when either folding or benchmarking. It's caused by the capacitors.

Mine screams in games too >.> Somehow forcing vsync reduced it :S but yeah. Probs because it's OC'd quite a bit

What's yours clocked at?

Mine is 702Mhz core and 1107Mhz memory

666Mhz core and 1150Mhz memory atm.. i'll probs put it up to 700 laters

Lol i went from Av. 25fps with no AA and low settings DX9 in Far Cry 2 to 50+fps with 4xAA, ultra high settings DX10

My 8500GT Super+1GB is on the following:

Core: 600MHz
Memory: 480Mhz
Shader: 1210MHz

No OC'd, and not even linked.

I always have that enabled in games anyway. It only squeels when i'm folding on it.
