Xbox 360 Family Settings

Original 360 was set up with family settings, is there any way of turning them off?

xbox guide button > all the way to the right (settings) > Family Settings > Than you can customize how youd like it. Or turn it all the way off if youd like

The family settings button seems to be faded out, so you can't click on it?
