How anybody can deny that Cristiano Ronaldo wasn't the best player last year really is beyond me.

Definitely c ronaldo. That isn't a bias opinion just because I support UTD but because he was just outstanding.

Certainly Cristiano Ronaldo, it's ludicrous to say anyone was even close to him last year. Well, certainly nobody that plays in the English league anyway.

El Nino AKA Fernando Torres. There was lots of people saying he would need time to adapt to England and the prem. How wrong they were

An impressive feat, but when someone scores 42 goals, won the Premier League and won the Champions League last season, this debate has decided itself.

Yeh and thats the thing you have to stress, he did all this and he is a winger/midfielder. NOT a striker. It is unheard of to score that many goals for a winger/midfielder.

That's a myth. He may be listed as playing on the wing, but it's clear to see that he is as much a striker as Berbatovon the pitch.

If I remember correctly, I think he won World Striker of the Year.

only because of the amount of goals he scored
he's a winger not a striker
