Need Curling Tips!

YES, I am a girl and I want to be able to curl my hair-really bad! Problem is, my hair is not easy to curl. If anyone has curling tips, cheap good-working curling irons, etc. they would be much appreciated ;)

(PLEASE, nothing over 50P or $100 <3)

Any other suggestions for hairstyles that would look cute on me would be appreciated too (: My pic is on the link and also attached below...

you can always do it with straighteners but it takes time and the curls aren't as good. you use mousse and hairspray to keep them, scrunching helps too.

i do it with my ghds

u sorta do the same as straightening, but like turn your hand at an angle as your going down the hair gradually

Err, how the heck can you curl with a straightener?

And so you start at the roots of your head and wind down? Or start at the bottom and wind up, hold it, and then pull out for the curl?

What are some good brands of mousse? Hairspray? Curlers?

no, u like start at the root, then like turn the straighteners slightly slowly

i curl with ghds too. put it in sections and start at the root, straighten as normal but turn it round while moving it down the hair. if that makes sense.

Uhh, not rlly, but kinda I guess? So like, flip the straightener in towards your head kind of? And what the heck is GHDS? :S:S

ooh they're type of straightners lol. um yeh straighten from the root of your hair then after few seconds turn them into your head while still moving down and straighten down. should work

LOL Jen I did half of my head with my GHDs yesterday and then couldn't do the other side cos you have to move our hands in a different direction lool :(

anyway lexi, if you can't use straighteners then you should buy some curlers :P

I tried it with the straightener today....
It kinda worked, but it curled up on my bangs! And the rest refused to curl?....Here, I'll go try again now and post a pic....

so don't curl your bangs, lol? sometimes I have trouble curling part of my hair, just give it a try and if it doesn't work let it cool and try again, and remember to do it in smaller sections.

Just wrap it around the iron, pull slowly, and when it gets to the end rap it around your fingers for a few seconds to hold the curl. I never really use and products so idk about that? x]

I can hardly see, the pics are so dark.

Are you pulling slow enough? Or holding it long enough? Make sure your flat iron is turned up to a good high temperature. If that still doesn't work try using some kind of curl-holding product? i can't rly think of one x]

I do mine with GHDs but use curl enhancing spray then use alot of hair spray to keep them in.
