"Sulake is a combination of two different worlds. It is a medium sized company with around 300 employees globally, however locally there are far fewer personnel with just 9 employees in the UK office. This gives a unique blend of the challenges and rewards of working in a small and large company at the same time. Coupled with working with people from all over the world and those who are truly talented in their specialist area makes working for Sulake special. As the company is still growing there are opportunities within the company to move towards different disciplines whether this is in business development, payment system management, or advertising sales. As Sulake launches new products there is also scope to work on different products other than the well known Habbo.
Having worked for Sulake for 4 years myself now I have seen the company go from a niche and underground community to a large global brand, where we are the largest Virtual World. The product is without a doubt very powerful and appealing to our teen target audience, which makes selling Habbo not only easy but also a lot of fun. Working with teenagers and an online community like Habbo has a very obvious impact on daily life. I would say that it is very unlikely that I could be meeting Alesha Dixon, Ozzy Osbourne and McFly one minute, trying to find a printer for a DVD insert in the next and then finishing the day by hosting a virtual bingo competition! In Habbo you can."
