Right, I can upgrade and I want a touchscreen phone.
My free options are the Samsung Tocco or the LG Viewty
If I pay £127 or wait 2 months I can be either the Samsung Pixon or LG Renoir (View my thread in Discuss Anything if you wana know why :/)

What should I do? I want opinions of the Tocco and Viewty and whether I should wait or not.

Vote in poll as well please :)

Tbh, the tocco is pretty much exactly the same layout as all the other samsung phones, But with a few un-needed features.

I heard that the camera is unbelievably crap for a 5MP?

Like everyone has stated above, the LG is a better all rounder, but i hate the touch screens on LG's my mates just suddenly broke on him without him dropping it etc and he has the viewty.

Just ring up orange once you have decided what phone you want and push them hard to get the phone for free. Ask to be put through to 'retentions'.

I've decided, I've looked at both phones, used both of mates irl, I like the tocco better.
I'm going to ring them up and push them for the Renoir if not I'll get the tocco.

I have a Viewty and I love it. I really want a Renoir now though, so I recommend a Renoir although the Viewty is really cheap nowadays on pay as you go.

I rang them up and they are ringing back on Monday to discuss deals. He said he would give me around £100 off the Renoir so £27, I'll be happy to pay that :P

Hazza

Yeah, if they give us £100 off. The man should be ringing back tomorrow. The most I can afford atm is £50 and I don't like paying for upgrades :P

£630 for a year and a half. I probz wouldn't want to pay out that much. Why can't you get it on pay as you go? It's half that price.

Hazza
14-12-2008, 05:54 PM
Because I would make up the rest with top-ups so there is no point.

Wayne
14-12-2008, 05:58 PM
Yeah, good point. 18 months' worth of credit would probz come to about £300 so yeah.

I decided to go for the Tocco in the end because for a few extra features and I got £9 off my contract, I paid £31 now only £22 I thought why not. Even though the cameras 5MP its still pretty good for what I'm doing to use it for.

So Tocco for £22 a month and free phone or Renoir with a few extra things and £32/35 a month - I know what I'm going to do :P
