I do not believe we are a world beating side however I do believe we are a side who should be able to beat the likes of Hull, Fulham and a Everton side with striker problems.
Greg, Hughes has a better side than Sven did. If Spurs and West Ham both win I believe we're one place off the drop zone.

Minstrels will you stop being a little baby as it's just getting old now. All you ever do is complain.. Mark Hughes is a great manager but it's not his fault if Pity's players are utter crap and cannot play together is it? Robinho has just come back from injury so give him time to find his form again.
Well done to everton and cahill :)

I have not complained every time City have lost, I have given opinions on the team Hughes selects. I started this one because I've given Hughes time up and as far as I'm concerned, that's up. I have made people believe I'm passionate about City and a true die hard fan... hardly see you express your views on your club, whats the matter don't you even know who is in the starting XI of the rags? All you plastic fans need to give him until January to buy some actual talent because at the moment the only 3 decent players you have are; Robinho, SWP and Jo. Hughes knows what he's doing and clearly you don't so be quiet for once. If he does manage to fail after January which I doubt he will you can come back here and say "I told you so" but I doubt he will.
I am a dedicated UTD fan but just because I don't express my views in a childish manor or spur a fight everytime my team loses doesn't mean I am not a fan.

Robinho has been good. Ireland has been good. SWP has been good. Hart has been good. Zab has been good.
Hughes is failing because he is ****. He is only a good manager for poor clubs who win by fighting. City do not have the players to fight for points. City need to pass the ball, like we did for most of last season.

Sparky is a great Manager you know "nothing" about football.
It's the players fault as they are playing. I mean look at some at the previous games.
Man City (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_city/default.stm) 0-1
(HT 0-0) Everton (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/e/everton/default.stm) They should have won that seeing that most of Everton's first team players were missing.
Fulham (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/f/fulham/default.stm) 1-1
(HT 1-1) Man City (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_city/default.stm) Bullard 27
Again Fulham hasn't got too much experience in their team only one or two internationals.

Look at ramos at spurs... and look how well redknapp is doing there now. So dont try and say its the players fault yes they are playing but as a manager you need to know how to get the best out of the team.

Minstels you need to calm down? Let the January transfer window blow over and see what players he can bring us. What you have to remember is the only players Hughes chose and brought into our team were, Zabeleta, Kompany, Ben-Haim and some Brazilian (which I forgot name of). OK Ben-Haim hasn't done well, but Kompany and Zabaleta are now in our first team squad and excellent players for our team.
Just see what players Hughes bring in, you have to remember that this is almost the same team that Sven had last year, and at the end of last year it didn't go very well, which is happening right now. Let Hughes get a full-back, Left back, Striker, Midfielder and any other players he thinks necessary for our squad, and everything may just change. ;)
Looking at the players he brought into Blackburn shows exactly how good he is at finding the right man that he needs. :)

You are acting like a total kid throwing your rattle out of the pram. Have you ever heard of the saying "Rome wasn't built in a day" maybe you should take that into consideration.
Also you should listen to what most of your own fans think as well such as FlameDragon. Instead of slating the teams performance and the manager maybe you do what a true supporter would do and back the team and back the manager.

To call yourself a City fan is just disgraceful... you should be supporting our manager, rather than effing and blinding them, and having a go at another City fan is just as bad... You make our team look like we have absolute cry baby fans and to call yourself a City fan is just an embarassment...
Sacking managers half way through a season solves absolutely nothing, we've sacked enough managers and to get a succesful manager like Hughes is great for us and we just need to put our trust into him and not put more pressure on him. Give him time and let him bring some good quality players that our team needs.
We're not in a relegation battle, the season is only just coming half-way, and you're acting like we're a team aiming to win the league, which is absolutely untrue. We're an average team in the premier league and very overrated, and for us to now be looking at becoming a Champions League team is beyond many City fans dreams.
Just start supporting our team like a true City supporter would do, you have obviously not been through the thick and thin of City if you're this furious of the current bad start to the season...

Wait till January... umm k. "Hey Mr Player, come to City. We're in the relegation zone and want to sign you". Wicked.
Minstrels your a disgrace, to yourself and to your club. How you can post such a chant about the Munich disaster is beyond me.
And before you think about replying effing and blinding like the Mr Hardman you think you are, please don't as it doesn't bother me in the slightest.
I posted what I believe will be chanted. Rome wasn't destroyed in four ******* months either. I have listened, 70% of fans want him out on that bluemoon site thing.
We were already concentrating on getting Jo before we hired Hughes. It was really Thaiksan who bought Jo.
You didn't know Jo's name. If we're not in a rele battle, where are we in the league mister?
Get a grip. You haven't given him time at all, so stop acting all spoilt and starting supporting your team.
I hold a SC, I support my team.
Stop embarrasing yourself further. You are so spoilt it's unbelievable, a couple years ago you wouldn't have even to associate Kaka with a move to Manchester City. I don't think you've grasped the concept of giving a manager time. 4 games is not time, nor is even 4 months. How about get behind your manager instead of asking him to **** off?
No. I want him to **** off.

Well money does talk, ask any Chelsea fan? We also managed to sign Anelka when we only just got promoted to the premier league? And he even went to Bolton! Which proves that some big star players do actually play for struggling clubs in the premier league.

Were near the bottom of the table, but its not the end of the season? And our team has players that can and do play together as a great team and we have no chance of being relegated this season... so don't panick.

First of, you've got far more money than we ever had. It's not just Chelsea that attract players through offering them higher wages. Most big clubs around the world offer higher wages to players in order to try and attract them, and there's nothing wrong with it in my opinion. I don't think all the players we've signed in the past few years have come simply because of the higher wages. The fact that we compete in the Champions League, we compete for the Premiership and that we are one of the most well known football clubs around the world helps too. Having managers like Mourinho and Scolari also attract players to come to the club.
Chelsea were much better than you were before your Thai guy tookover. I don't see how a team finishing 4th (how can you call that average?!) the season before Roman came, or 5/6th and 3rd once in the premiership is similar to what your situation was. You were a club around 15/16th. Calling a club consistently getting into Europe 'Average' is somewhat wrong. Is the exact same happening to you? I'm not too sure myself. The first season Roman came in, we finished 2nd instead of 4th, which is an improvement. You though, last season hardly finished that high, and this season you'll probably finish around mid-table. We were a much better club when Roman took us over than you were when your Thai guy took you over. We had some quality players already in... Lampard, John Terry, Carlo Cudicini, Gudjohnsen and many more. You though, i'm not sure if you had that quality when you were initially took over and had the money.

End of the day mate you was the one at the beginning of the season when Pity won a few games bragging. Now you've realised the harsh reality that you have crap players who can't play together you want your manager out. Why don't you just give him a chance to buy players in January, it's obvious you're going to get some big names that will only be at your club for the money. I don't see how any professional footballer will have love or passion for your club now.
Although if I'm wrong I guess you'll be playing my home team in the championship!

Yes we have had far more money than you have, but we only had about a week to actually spend that. OK maybe I was wrong about you being average, I made a mistake and I'm human. :) But Chelsea were always qualifying for UEFA before Roman was taking over so you were hardly Champions League material when he took over you. Roman took over you in June which gave him a whole summer to spend. We didn't really have the money to spend until the last week of the Summer transfer window as Thaikson didn't have the money to buy world class players like you could with Roman.
So far we have bought one world class player, Robinho. Before him we had Ireland, Dunne, Petrov, Elano, Johnson, Richards and Hart, so we did/do have a good team for the Arabs already. They may not be as experienced as Lampard, Terry, Cudicini and Gudjohnson, but they are all fantastic players for us, and some are performing superbly for their age.
I give up. If he's staying buy players like Bellamy and Bridge.
Hes trying to buy players with experience in the premiership... He bought Zabaleta and Kompany and no-one really knew who they were and they wern't exactly expensive, but they are now vital players for our team and have fitted in really well into the premiership.
If you're complaining about them players, just think back to Samaras, Caicedo and Castillo. They were all thought to be brilliant players for our team, and they did awful. So I do believe that Hughes can find the right players for our team. ;) After all, he did get Bentley and Santa-Cruz for Blackburn, and look how good they did for their team? :)

Well we were Champions League material, we qualified for it before he took over. In our first summer, we didn't burst out on any one player really. Buying the likes of Cech 8m, Robben 12m, Glen Johnson 5-10m, Joey Cole 5-10m and Wayne Bridge 5-10m is hardly blowing it out or on world class players at all.
You did have a very good squad list before, as you had a rich bloke spending a fair bit, we had Ken Bates, and were in deep financial troubles like you were before Thaskin tookover.
Kompany is an excellent signing, great on the ball, and he'll prosper sooner rather than later. Zabaleta i'm unsure of as I've hardly seen much of him.
