Earlier i got an email, i was about to reply with my username and password but then i realised something was wrong, i checked the email and it was from [email protected] LOL! I was this close from getting hacked! By some newbs.

The email said this:
Habbo,
We regret to inform you that there have been several attemps by an uknown IP Address trying to access your habbo account.

As a result we will need you to verify that you are the rightful owner by providing the following:
1. Habbo Hotel:
2. Habbo Hotel Username:
3. Habbo Hotel Password:
4. Your Date Of Birth:

If you fail to do so we have no other option then to permanently ban your account and your IP Address.

We are very sorry for the inconvinience and give many apologies, if you have any questions please contact us via Habbo Help Tool.

Thankyou,

Habbo UK Staff and Support Team

And it was in the official newsletter layout! Thats what tricked me.
So if you get this email.. Just simply delete it, DO NOT REPLY.

Thanks,
Jack.

This is clever, plus its easy to go to the passport website and just register a habbo.co.uk email and start doing it, its too easy. Habbo should try hard to stop it.

This is a very smart and thought through scam with templates that look legit, but I being a safety freak and a old Habbo user know that Habbo Staff will NEVER ask for your password for ANYTHING.

Even if [email protected] sent me an email requesting my details including password straight -> delete.
