Okay, its a site to get around school filters.

It currently has MSN bulit in.
Aswell as quite a few games.

Im trying to set up a Proxy, and a custom YouTube page.

Would you use this at school?

It also has hotlinks if a teacher is coming, to re-direct your page in under a second, to Sam Learning.

And the title of the site is 'SAM Learning' so when you minimize it, the teacher is clueless!

Would you use this site?

I myself wouldnt use it, becuase my school has clocked on about every single proxy, so if we go on one that isnt blocked we get banned anyway, which I cant afford to happen to me one more time.

Does seem a good idea though, how would you get youtube working? Becuase when viewing youtube through a normal proxy the video never plays becuase its trying to connect you youtube.com to get the video info which will be blocked.

@awelsh

We are currently searching every major video site, looking for flaws, currently no hope with youtube.
It might not work, not a big loss anyway.

I shall post the site later, Im finishing editing it atm.

Current URL - www.bringdarnell.co.nr (http://www.bringdarnell.co.nr)

The Url will be changed to www.samsnotlearning.co.uk (http://www.samsnotlearning.co.uk) or something along the lines, at a later period.

Cool, good luck with the youtube one, because I haven't seen anyone find a way to get around streaming through a proxy yet.

If we get caught on a forum/proxy your user account gets banned.

i could set it up by 8pm tonight.

although forms will be inactive.

It will just contain games, msn, and goatse links.

Goatse links to annoy other pupils..

LOL, Goatse is going around our school atm, we goatse them big projector screens, and take control of the teachers computer, and Goatse everyones screen  Sad, but.. meh.

EDIT: @Wayne.. No, The MSN Client is not actually hosted by us, its a site which is not blocked on any school computers, as tried before.

Its now open, lets say for BETA Testing.

Only the games and msn is really working.

Also our very own HugeTube player is on, but wont work for schools.

Just a pointer, half the stuff wont work. The MSN client isnt going through a proxy, and IloveIM is usually blocked, so that will be too. Same with the games.

I know iloveIM is usually blocked, which is why i chose the x12.'-'.
Which works, as I have tested it.

Also the games will all work, as they are embedded, not directly hosted games such as MiniClip games.

Ive tested them both, they both work.

The IloveIM wont work, im 100% sure of that. It still goes to iloveim.com to connect.

Not sure about the games but if they are embedded, then they will link back to the origional site. In my school case it will simply show a box saying "Website blocked(Request Unblock)" in its place.

I added www.zippefish.com (http://www.zippefish.com) and www.freeonlinegames.com (http://www.freeonlinegames.com) to my Restricted site list, which host the games i have on my site, it still allows the games to be played.

Im not going to try iloveim,

EDIT: It still works on IloveIM aswell.

Most schools dont just use restricted site lists like that. My school has dansguardian protecting them, so it filters each URL and blocks anything found on the site, even images

Looks quite good but I just use Google as a proxy and multiple tabs to put up a fake window title.
