OMG, on the last day at school (19th), we go on a cinema visit.
This year, going by coach, and watching Madagascar 2, it costs..
Wait for it......
£9.00!
Thats not including Popcorn, or drinks!
It costs what, £3 for a day rider on a bus, then about £3.50 to see a film.
Yet there charging us £9!! For a *REMOVED* film!

I know, it's ridiculous. And the worst thing is, that's just to see the film, add at least a tenner for munchies to eat with the film, a fiver on the "Stacker" game trying to win the PS3 adn you've spent nearly £30!

It's about £6 for me. I swear itonly used to be like £3.50 or something..
I hate the way everythings over priced there. Large stale popcorn is £4 and a bottle of WATER is £1.90. It's a joke.

The School take you??? Well lucky.
Anyway a cinema ticket usually costs £5.50 and a coach is usually around £3.50 per person so it adds up.

Its £4.50 in my local Showcase Cinemas and £9 for the special seats ticket. I supose £4.50 for teacher insurance and coach money isnt too bad, but ye you just think £9 for cinema which is alot but isnt really ;)

I assume they will hire out the entire screen for the school, so that'll cost a bit of money. Also, a cinema ticket is more along the lines of atleast £5.00, not £3.50.
You're crying about £9 for a ticket and travel? Haha, it'll easily be £15 for popcorn/hot dog/drink, imo if it's a good day out it's worth £15

Students here only pay 6 Singapore dollars to catch a movie on weekdays. That's £2.70. :)

£4.50 for tickets in Northern Ireland unless you want VIP which is a tenner :( But £9 quid for just an average ticket for a poor film is extortion, I bet they think they are being clever taking advantage of younger people yet they will lose out to other places.
