Why won't my Lloyds TSB Visa debit card work? :@

I just got it like a week ago and today I went and unlocked the pin. I then paid £20 into my account. The lady said it'd be paid in, in about 20 minutes time. It's been a whole hour and my card won't work when I go to shop online for anything.

Any guesses? :S
