Well lately i've realised that when ever i bend down or bend my knees quite alot not just crouch a tiny bit, and then i stand up again, the front of my knees, but inside by knee, hurts, and i was wondering what it is, its not causing any serious pain or distress its just im worried what it is, it isn't anything like artheritis is it?, it does run in the family i think, my nana has it terribly, and my mum has it slightly, and i would be pretty *REMOVED* off if i've devloped something like this so early in life.
Thanks Alex.

I don't think arthritis is hereditary, it depends how you treat your joints yourself I think. You could however have any other joint problem or knee problem, see your doctor and they'll test it, it could just be tight skin.

Does the area jsut below your knee cap hurt when you lift your leg up?
If so, it's Osgood-Schlatter disease, I have it.

If you tap like, the joint just at your knee so just under your knee cap, does it really hurt? Even if it's really light tap?
I have that.
Quite a few of my friends have had it too, my mate said it goes after about a year (lol).
I've had it since around late January and mine's been wearing off too.

How you sit affects it a lot. Sitting with you're knees bent and your feet on the chair infront of you - crouching - can make them sore if you stay like that for a long time. Happened to me almost every day after coming of the PC, they hurt. Now I sit on one foot and let the other hang so I just become numb instead. :P
