Seriously? That was apparently one of the big competitors rivaling Woolworths, barring internet downloads :S Might be a hint to why Virgin got rid of it :P

It isnt that much just £10 and £5 off some things. That's quite substantial when you look at how competitive the gaming industries prices are.

Isn't that just the online stuff as the supplier for all of Zavvi's online deals were owned by Woolworths and then they went bust so Zavvi got screwed.

I think they may of been supplied by the same entertainment company, but you might be correct. It's strange the business websites are saying things like "Woolworths biggest competitor and rival was Zavvi" when Zavvi gets supplied by the same company and only has one sector of Woolworths company, digital and electrical entertainment :P

Because of woolworths going in to administration, EUK, they supply CD'S, DVD'S etc have gone into administration aswell because of this shops like sainsburys, tescos and shops alike may stop selling cd's, dvds etc.

Apparently it used to be owned by virgin (richard branson) and he sold the company for £1 lol.
I bet GAME sells or chucks Gamestation soon. Woolies killed themselves with Video Games. £44.99 for games like Fable 2 and such when they were £20-£30 elsewhere.

Didn't you know Zavvi stores were Virgin Media stores before? :P
My Zavvi is already doing all these sales, I think GAME are trying to compete against some prices because they're selling wireless headsets for £20 now. xD

Why would they chuck them?
