New fansite voting should open but I dunno :(

Lots of fansites closed lately, a few more may close with the new VIP rules.

I hope Habbo see what they're doing and review the rule :)

I can't see them closing because of that rule, only a couple actually make money out of VIP.

I can't see them closing because of that rule, only a couple actually make money out of VIP.


All fansites with a forum make money from VIP, I know that the VIP rule was a factor in habbos.net closing as that was souly a forum.

Yeah I meant that; as in all forums make money from VIP which they need to be able to pay for hosting.

Can't say I am surprised, although fansites aren't exactly a great deal to Habbo anymore. Just a form of free advertisement, which can be told to do whatever they want.

One of the older fansites on the official list and easily one of the most innovative fansites around, I personally wasn't a fan of it's 'flashy client' but it was clearly very popular and it was coded all by them as far as I'm aware.

It's sad to see another unique fansite go, it'll most probably be replaced by some boring iframes site with cutenews or a vbulletin forum. There's only a few proper fansites left ;)
