Okay, dad just upgraded my phone to the G1 as part of my yearly upgrade and was wondering if anyone knew any awesome apps I should download or anything I should do to it when I get it?

I want a good first impression on the G1 lol, I think its crap right now, but at least Ill have 2 more chances to find a decent phone (luckily)

Is it really that bad? Aside from the design it looks pretty good to me!

I got it today and I LOVE IT. Its like my kind of version of the iPhone, its got all the good bits, with no bad bits LOL

Its not nearly as ugly in real life! :P

Couple of people have it in my college class, I love the barcode thing, so handy at lunch, saves me money :)
Also the smart tic tac toe game is quite challenging :p

Nice,I have the black one. Amazing phone! But most the market apps suck. Also get ChompSms.

It looks like a nice phone, but the buttons on the bottom are ugly I think, apart from that it's decent

I think the white one looks really nice, but i think the black looks horrible. It looks like a really cheap and nasty greyish black...ewwww. Yeah good choice on the white one.
