To be totally honest this is probably a tradition that these villagers have followed on for generations, and while we think it's horrible and and way too harsh, they probably think it's normal and totally appropriate. If this is the case, then, well, who are we to judge/stop them?

Well I'd want them to be locked up or something for stealing stuff I worked for, but in Nigeria they're weird so this is probably their punishment, it's fair. :)
