www.skreemr.com (http://www.skreemr.com), lets you search listen and then if you right click on the file name lets you download without having to install software.

While Torrent is the opposite - You have to install software before downloading the file you want.

Correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Skreemer has direct downloads from webservers whereas to download from torrents you connect to other people's machines I think.
