My mate has a new capture card, it's so amazing but quiet expensive, I'm going to save up for one, I think it hooks up to HDMI or something, I dunno how that works but it's amazing quality!

Check it out: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=pum7yL4lrCU&fmt=18

It also somehow makes the YouTube page very big for full quality, how cool.

Indeed Sayid, it's in the range of $300+ so it's about 100 odd quid, I think it's a good buy though.

You also need HDMI cables which sets you back £20.
So your paying £150 for that or £80 for Dazzle which has nearly the same quality. It doesnt matter if it's HD anyway cause you'll not notice it if you dont have a HD monitor and YT butchers the quality.

I doubt it, it captures as HD so I'm not sure if you need a HD TV ;)

The £70 dazzle is the only one that can capture 60hz signals (Xbox360)

Can you link me to all the things you need with the dazzle to record stuff to your PC. I heard you need more things other than the dazzle.

Standard Televisions
Dazzle Platinum (£70)
Phono to Phono Cable (AVtoAV) (£10)
AV Hub (£10)

HD Televisions
Dazzle Platinum (£70)
Phono To Phono Cable [x2] (AVtoAV) (£10 each)
Phono Spliters [x2] (£5 each)

You can use the HD one for the Standard aswell but the Standard one will only work with Standard Televisions.

How does only two splitters work :P

PaulMacC

Because for HD you dont need the yellow composite cable as your using the HD video signals, you only need to split the white and red cables which are the audio.

Don't buy a Dazzle if you're looking to broadcast on justin.tv they don't support Flash Media Encoder and if you've got Vista there are loads of problems with drivers etc they didn't work for me, so if you are PM me on JOSH and I can help with that.
