Hiya.
I am getting Iphone for Christmas and want a wee cover for it as I know from itouch how scratched and wrecked they get.
I don't want anything big and fat... something quite discreet and nice that does a good job. lol (but also reasonably priced)
I don't mind buying online as long as I can get it before Christmas (so would need to be like express delivery probs now).
+13 rep for all help :)

They sell good ones in HMV, I got one from there, they also sell these transparent plastic things that go over the screens to stop them getting scratched/dirty.

I have this for my iPhone 3G:

It's great, fits snug and doesn't feel bulky.

Have a browse.
Cheap and brand new.

I have one on my iPod touch and it is incredible - there's not a mark on it and I've used it daily for about 11 months!

Probably would have took you less time to type www.argos.co.uk and search, instead of posting this :S

argos mks me sick tbh
and no, I can go online and just buy one you are correct. However, I want one thats actually good and therefore I created this thread to encourage other users to post some reviews and indications of feedback based upon their own personal experiences with such products. So please, keep your remarks to yourself. (scrooge ;))
And for your information, Argos don't even sell iphone covers so no - it wouldn't have taken me less time.
Why should I keep my remarks to myself, i'm entitled to my opinion, thanks.

Your opinion was totally irrelevant though. It wasn't even an opinion tbh, it was moreso a pointless post!
You simply posted a smarmy comment about going to Argos for them, when quite clearly they don't even do them. (And you should know that working there...)

Why try Argos when you can get opinions from a group of other people on a forum that will recommend other shops.
I'd say try eBay Allan, but it's kind of late now if you want them in time for Christmas. :(

A little reminder though. Those, along with the other skin type cases (InvisibleShield, Bodyguardz) are a pain to install for the back, due to the contours of the back of the iPhone. One dust particle and it'll be there forever, and the corners are a pain . I suggest Bodyguardz though, they give 2 so if you screw one up you still can get another go, and also Bodyguardz fully covers the chrome bezel, which scratches a lot.
If you plan on getting the InCase Slider I heard it scratches (dust under the slider will scratch the plastic). So, I suggest if you want, this is what I do with my case (which is also prone to scratching). Put the skin type case (InvisibleShield/Bodyguardz) below and then put the case on. Like that, no scratches, and slighty impact resistant!
I got the Belkin silicone one
http://store.apple.com/us/product/TS468LL/A?fnode=MTY1NDA0NA&mco=MjE1MDE1NA (can't find in UK store)
It's great, and looks good. Stretches a abit though but that is forgivable. Covers chrome bezel too which is quite prone to scratching
I heard the iCapsuleNeo is good. It adds a little more bulk though. Basically its a very thin silicone membrane (like a much thinner version of mine), then you put on this little "H" piece of plastic, and then another one. Very durable. Can't use a skin type case under though but that one doesn't scratch, a very snug fit.
