I don't get what Folding Home does, what does it contribute to Stanford University? Electricity? Do you pay anything? - Don't understand :S:S

Someone clear this up for me heh :D

it uses your ps3s processing power to help find out how proteins fold and why they do it or something like that.

Its DID tell you how long it takes to fold a protein mollecule and all the rest of it, nothing related to cancer, it is now life with playstation

It uses your ps3 to help them with stuff basically, mainly to unfold protiens and all that tech stuff and you pay nothing, your ps3 will only use the amount of electricity as a lightbulb when it is on folding at home / life with playstation which is the new name, with more features like news

Its nothing related to cancer, they even confirmed it its to do with curing alzhaimerz (however you spell it) mad cow, parkinsons and cystic fibrosis and some others not cancer

yes but it can contribute to cancer. its about how proteins form and about their tertiary structure. Cancer can change the sequence off specific proteins so if they can detect that a specific protein has been changed they could find a cure or prevention..
