I'm getting a touch for Xmas (hopefully) and I think there's different ways/applications to jail break your touch.
Can anyone suggest the best way to do it or the best application thingy-majig such as QuickPwn or Installous etc.

You are probably getting the newest iPod Touch (2G) which can't be jailbroken... YET! Wait till after New Year, I'm sure the Dev Team will have something for you then. They're busy working on the iPhone 3G unlock, which has been done, but they have to prepare, compile etc. :D
Hope that helped!

Well you don't need to jailbreak your ipod to have fun with it. There are loads of brilliant free apps from the app store.

I feel the same way. I'm just waiting for the dev team to come out with a jailbreak.

omg I can't..... WAIT! :P
Pay for apps people stop being such cheapskates. If you don't like paying £3.99 or whatever for a game (considering DS ones are like 20-25 and PSP ones are 25+) then don't buy it. Simple.
There are hundreds of threads on jailbreaking, search! You don't even need to search there's about 10 on the first page.

Nick :P, i've gone through it before, I have 8 pages of apps amounting to at least £400. You know the calculations :P

I know but if you can't afford it don't buy it. Or at least from the independent developers.
