www.sitepal.com > Demo > Audio > TTS, loads of voices and stuff to choose from, it's really good. And if you wanna record it for a video or something just use 'Sound Recorder' while it's playing on windows.

Thats not what he wants. He wants it so that if you have a basic text area users can type for instance:

Hello. There will be a basic button that says Translate to text.

Text into voice, that means you type and a voice will repeat it, so basically it's a TTS program..

Thanks, it's just more of a question out of curiousity as to how it's made and a potential application.

Aha found a way to do it. For those of you who want it I'll make a small program.

txt = ("I don't know if this is what you want?")
Set sapi = CreateObject("SAPI.SpVoice")
sapi.speak txt

save as something.vbs

is that what you wanted? :s

yes, I already figured that out. and when you copy and paste posts from other forums, it's a pretty good idea to cite your info, or at least change it up at bit more so I don't recognize it.

I am the one who posted that code. I didn't cite it because I learned how to do it via the API. I didn't copy and paste it.
